Welcome to the Virtual Festival
of Woodturning 2026

No doubt you are aware that the Association of Woodturners of Great Britain are holding a
Festival of Woodturning this October in Stratford-Upon-Avon. As the President of the AWGB,
it gives me great pleasure to announce that we will be offering a video alternative for those
who are interested in the event, but are unable to attend it in person.

We will be selling tickets for this at a low cost, and with a reduced price for AWGB members.
There will be a live stream over the weekend of the Festival with two channels, one from
each of the two live streaming rooms; this will feature 8 of the 10 demonstrators at the event.
As well as this, we will be recording all the demonstrations at the Festival; video ticket
holders will be able to view the recordings for up to three months after the event.

This allows for you to see demonstrations you missed on the day, or to go back and watch specific
details again so you can learn the techniques on show. We also plan to include some pre-
recorded bonus material, both brand new footage and some popular videos from previous
events.

In addition, we will be making this video package available free of charge to all ticket holders
for the Festival itself, so they can review what they have seen or demonstrations they may
have missed out on once they get home again.
